Artist's Project Description: This short play is a tribute to George Floyd. It imagines what might have occurred if the first African American heavyweight of the US, Jack Johnson, was stopped by the police on a night out on the town in 1910. The play stars Jason Hoy as Jack, Kevin Keaveney as Officer 1, and Garrett Hols as Officer 2.

Artist's Bio: Allison E. Francis PhD, is a Professor of English & Coordinator of English at Chaminade University of Honolulu. She is a playwright, director, actor & performance poet, featured internationally. She performs in local Hawaii theatres. Allison made her directorial debut & starred in Ntozake Shange’s For Colored Girls. She appeared as Nafissatou Diallo in we, the invisibles with Kailua Onstage Arts which won Best Ensemble Play 2020. Allison humbly submits Chocolate Cake, to TheBreathProject2020.
