PRIVILEGE

Artist's Project Description: Privilege was written by Michael Kennedy, Artistic Director of Creative Action Unlimited, with additional material by Royal Brown. This script was written in response to the killing of George Floyd and the countless other Black deaths caused by white supremacy. It focuses on the differences in what one person can do in 8 minutes and 46 seconds, depending on their level of privilege. Actors in this ensemble include Shirey Archie, Rebekah Brisbane, Maghen Ryan, John Stevenson, Sakea Martin and Timmy Martin.
Artist's Bio: Tim Martin is originally from West Tennessee and is now a human services advocate and actor in New York State's Capital Region, where he has worked with multiple local theater companies. He is a Board member of Creative Action Unlimited, a theater company dedicated to creating social change through exploration of current social issues.
